Problem:
After the conversion of the production and the extension of the pedestrian gallery to the production building, ragged horizontal cracks began to appear and develop on the facade for several years. After the survey and collection of loads on the building, the insufficient load-bearing capacity of the foundation soil was determined.
Features:
The foundation is made of rubble stone; the depth of the foundation sole is -5.70 m from the level of the surface, -2.70 from the basement floor.
Task:
To strengthen the foundation soil without damaging the foundation and to fill the voids that formed after deformation.
Solution:
Before starting the work on strengthening the base, a set of works was carried out to determine the density of the base and identify low-bearing horizons of the soil thickness.
To solve this problem, the method of deep Lifting was chosen. All work was carried out from the basement of the building, injection was performed at an angle. After the completion of the work on strengthening the foundation soil, a set of geodetic works was performed to install control marks and benchmarks for further monitoring of the vertical and horizontal displacements of the building.
