Problem:
During the building's operation, the internal load-bearing columns have undergone by subsidence. The reason was uneven compaction of the ground (backfill soil).
Task:
To strengthen the foundation soil and stop the uneven settlement of the foundations of the columns.
Solution:
Before starting work on strengthening the base, a series of geodetic surveys was carried out to accurately determine the position of the columns in space (in the vertical and horizontal planes). Also, decompressed ground horizons of the base were identified by dynamic penetration test. A separate study revealed local areas of voids under the floor slab.
To solve this problem, we chose the injection method – GeoResin Deep Lifting. All work was carried out from the surface of the floor slab of the 1st floor, injection was performed at calculated angles according to the project design and "wave principle". Filling the void was performed strictly vertically. All work was carried out under the constant supervision of the geodetic service.
