Objective
Elimination of the consequences of defects in above ground structures from frost heaving in the soil and uneven subsidence of foundations.
Source data
In the above ground structures of the existing country house in the process of operation, deformations appeared with uneven subsidence of prefabricated foundations, buried less than the depth of freezing. The survey of the house found that the reason for this was uneven in terms of unstructured of the dusty-clay soil at the base due to seasonal processes of its freezing-thawing-drying.
Goal
Ensuring normal operating conditions of a country house with the elimination of the consequences of soil heaving by means of its injection hardening under the foundations while re-leveling and stabilizing their sediments.
Applied technologies
The solution of the problem was facilitated by the method of deep Lifting ACCORDING to GeoResin technology. At the same time, the injection of polymer compositions into the soil provides its strengthening with the elimination of heaving properties.
Result
The result of using the applied ground improving technology was verified by laser monitoring of the vertical lift of structures by an average of 2 mm during injection and by dynamic penetration test after the base processed. This allowed us to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of improving the mechanical properties of the soil in the injection zone. Soil hardening lasted 2 working days, and here the company's specialists performed restoration work to eliminate the consequences of defects and ensure normal operating conditions of the summer house.
