Problem:
During the long-term operation period of the production warehouse, including the constant dynamic impact of loader movements, a local floor subsidence appeared in the active traffic zone, which interfered with the normal operation of the warehouse and reduced the productivity of operations.
Foundation:
Monolithic reinforced concrete floor slab with a thickness of 550 mm.
Task:
Strengthen the foundation ground, lifting the floor slab in a horizontal plane with a tolerance of ±5 mm (height difference) over the entire area of the work area.
Scope of work:
Area of the work area ~350 m2.
Method:
GeoResin Deep Lifting/Floor lifting.
Solution:
Before starting work on strengthening the ground and construction, a set of works was carried out to determine the density of the soil base and identify low-bearing horizons of the soil. The 0-th Geomonitoring cycle was also performed to determine surface differences.
To solve the problem of strengthening the base soil, the method of GeoResin deep Lifting was chosen. All work was carried out inside the building, injection was performed in several levels, strictly vertically.
The GeoResin Floor lifting method was chosen for re-leveling the floor. Injection was performed by grabs, strictly in one direction using the "wave" principle.
After the completion of work on strengthening the foundation soil and re-leveling the floor slab, a complex of geodetic works was performed to install control marks for further observation and annual warranty Geomonitoring.
